It's hot here in DC - 101 degrees. Hot all over the US, actually. Here's a question for you all. Why is it that whenever there's a heatwave, local TV news and newspapers show white kids playing in pools, and black kids playing in sprinklers or fire hydrants?
One of those things... during Hurricane Katrina, black people looted, while white people "found stuff."
