Good News

V is resting now at the Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington. Amber went to visit her earlier today, but she was sound asleep - her first real sleep in over a week. We're headed back this evening.

The Northern Virginia Training Center, one of five regional residential training centers for individuals with intellectual disabilities operated by the Commonwealth of Virginia, is sending someone to the hospital tomorrow morning to meet with V. The doctor they're sending is one of the few in the country who specializes in patients with MR (mental retardation) and mental illness. Fingers crossed.

Charlie, Amber, and Victoria: We're thinking of you. Keeping you in our prayers. Glad you're blogging. Keep us posted.
We made a call to Sara's mom, a therapist in Michigan, for ideas but it sounds like Victoria's in the right place now. Fingers crossed about the doctor. Victoria is blessed to have you two in her life.
Sending love and hugs from Sri Lanka.
