Dems and Special Interest Groups

The folks over at Daily Kos have a great post today about the Democratic Party and special interest groups. What they say mirrors what I believe, we're too often seen as the "party of abortion" or the "party of gun control" etc. We're not, we're the party of the right to privacy, the party of equality under the law.
